Juanita DeLeon Samarron crossed into heaven's gates on May 18, 2022, at her home in Littlefield, TX.
Juanita was born in Snyder, TX on August 29, 1949, to Santiago and Genoeva Samarron. She grew up in Earth, TX. She loved her family very deeply and enjoyed being with them every day. She loved Jesus like no one else and was a member of the Bright and Morning Star Baptist Church in Earth, TX.
She was preceded in death by her father, Santiago Samarron Sr. , mother, Genoeva Samarron, and her brother, Refugio Samarron.
She is survived by her brothers: Juan Manuel Samarron of Earth, TX, Santiago Samarron, Jr. and Adriana of Levelland, TX, Francisco Samarron of Earth, TX, Julio Samarron and Melissa of Earth, TX, Arturo Samarron and Kimberly of Canyon, TX, Dimas Samarron and Ellen of Levelland, TX, Enrique Samarron of Levelland, TX, Raul Triana and Yolanda of Tooele, Utah, Francisco Samarron Jr. and Shayla of Earth, TX; her sisters: Lupe Garcia and Faustino of Earth, TX, Eufemia Longoria and Felix of Earth, TX, Teresa Dabrowski and Edwin of Littlefield, TX, Rebecca Gonzalez and Rene of Levelland, TX, Rosadrio Samarron of Sundown, TX, Senaida Samarron and Johnny Dancer of Littlefield, TX, Crystal Sanchez of Lubbock, TX; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.
Services were under the direction of the Hillcrest Funeral Home in Littlefield, TX. The service was officiated by Bro. Julio Samarron. The visitation for Juanita was at the Bright and Morning Star Baptist Church in Earth, TX on Thursday, May 19, 2022, from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m. and a wake service (velorio) on Friday, May 20, 2022, from 6 until 7:30 p.m.,viewing continued until 10 p.m. The funeral service was held at the First Baptist Church of Earth on Saturday, May 21, 2022, at 1:00 p.m., with the gravesite service following at the Earth Cemetery.
