The Amherst Lady Bulldogs’ varsity basketball team fell to the Whiteface Lady Lopes last Friday, 75-18.
With the loss, the Lady Bulldogs fall to 0-5 in district play on the season.
In the first quarter Nevaeh Esquibel drained three three’s for the Lady Bulldogs, but the Lady Lopes took a, 26-11, lead into the second frame.
In quarter number two, Amherst was outscored, 18-3, as Whiteface took a, 44-14, lead into the locker room at halftime.
Whiteface added 16 points in the third quarter and 15 points in the fourth quarter, as they took the contest, 75-18.
Esquibel led the Lady Bulldogs in scoring with 10 points, while Dennys Reyes chipped in six points and Nancy Rubio finished with two points in the contest.
