The Olton Mustangs’ varsity basketball team defeated the Plains Cowboys on Friday, 71-58, to improve to 9-3 overall on the season.
The Mustangs hosted Hale Center for their district-opener on Tuesday. Results were not available at press time. They will continue their season after Christmas, when they take part in the Wildcat Classic.
Their tournament-opener will be against the Roosevelt Eagles on Thursday, Dec. 27th.
Tip-off is scheduled for 4:30 p.m.
