The Springlake-Earth Lady Wolverines’ varsity cross country team placed fourth overall on Saturday at the Oil Patch Invitational in Sundown with 140 total points.
Two-time state champion junior, Taytum Goodman, continued on her quest for a third state title in as many years, as she placed first overall in the event, blazing to a time of 11:54.04.
Freshman, Aabriella Villanueva, placed 15th overall, clocking a time of 14:30.60, while junior, Emma Samaron, finished 27th with a time of 15:01.90, and sophomore, Aryca Ibarra, finished 57th with a time of 16:01.82.
Sophomore, Marisela Rodriguez, finished 61st with a time of 16:09.17, while Riley Furr finished 64th with a time of 16:19.49, and senior, Jenna Bridges, finished 87th overall with a time of 16:56.57.
The Lady Wolverines will be running at LCU on Saturday as their season continues.
