The Littlefield Wildcat and Lady Cats’ varsity cross country teams competed at the Lubbock ISD Cross Country Invitational on Saturday.
The Wildcats were led by sophomore, Brandon Marines, who finished 120th overall, clocking a time of 21:26.6. Freshman, Nathan Rodriguez, finished 132nd overall with a time of 22:10.0, while freshman, Thomas Jasso, finished 144th overall with a time of 23:02.6, and freshman, Damon Salazar, finished 154th with a time of 23:47.8.
The Lady Cats were led by sophomore, Brinley Acevedo, who finished 126th overall, clocking a time of 15:21.8. Junior, Lauren Turpen, finished 155th overall with a time of 16:03.8, while sophomore, Marysa Saenz, finished 171st overall with a time of 16:38.1, and freshman, Samantha Duran, finished 181st with a time of 19:21.4.
