The Littlefield Wildcats finished third in District 3- 3A and were well represented on the All-District teams.
Senior, Jordan Trevino, led the way for the Wildcats, as he was named the MVP of the District. Senior, Ethan Garcia was named the Pitcher of the Year for the District and freshman, Major McNeese, was named the District Newcomer of the Year.
Senior, Nick Caballero, earned 2 nd Team All-District pitcher honors, while freshman, Chip Green, earned All-District 2 nd Team outfield honors and sophomore, Isaiah Rodriguez earned All-District 2 nd Team second baseman honors. Senior, Jonavan Weaver earned Honorable Mention.
Head Coach Mitch McNeese also announced the team awards for the season with the Fighting Heart Award going to Nick Caballero and Jonavan Weaver. Major McNeese earned the Big Stick Award and Jordan Trevino was named the team’s MVP.
