The Sudan Nettes’ varsity basketball team finished the season as undefeated District champions, as well as earning Bi-district and Area championships and finishing the season as Regional Quarter-finalists.
Junior, Stevi Lockhart led the list of awards for the Nettes, earning the District 5- 2A Player of the Year award. Senior, Addison Boehning, was named the District’s Offensive Play of the Year and junior, Riley Edens was named to the District’s All-Defensive Team.
The Nettes posted three First-Team All-District selections in senior, Lizseth Sital and junior’s Braelyn Pointer and Gracyn Shultz.
They also had 10 athletes earn Academic All-District honors, including, Edens, Elain Martinez, Landree Gonzales, Sital, Boehning, Sydney Cornelius, Lockhart, Shultz, Pointer and Kambry Tolbert.
