Harvest Moon ...

As the fall season approaches and colder temperatures set in, there’s a silver lining to look up to — literally as the harvest moon made its debut on this past Monday September 20 th , bringing plenty of bright moonlight.

The full moon known as the harvest moon, as it traditionally gave farmers more time to harvest their summer-grown crops into the night. This past week at First Baptist Church we seen a great harvest of souls. The Lord Jesus Christ did some amazing work as several came to Christ this week at the drama of Heaven’s Gates and Hell’s Flames. In the Bible it states in Galatians 6:8-9 That a man reaps what he sows. The one who sows to please his sinful nature, from that nature will reap destruction; the one who sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life. Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.

So if you have been praying for someone, or talking to them about the Lord do not give up keep planting, keep sowing, keep watering because I promise the harvest is coming!!

God Bless and have a great week!!
