Samuel Ervin Black, age 67, of Lubbock, passed away on July 11, 2021 in Lubbock. Funeral services were held at 4 p.m., Tuesday, July 13, 2021 at Littlefield Memorial Park in Littlefield with Jim Harris from the Crescent Park Church of Christ officiating. Arrangements were under the personal care of the Moore-Rose Funeral Home.
Samuel was born on Aug. 21, 1953 to Wallace Douglas and Helen (Montgomery) Black in Alamosa, CO. Samuel was blessed with a sweet spirit. He liked kittens and cats and loved eating ice cream, watermelon, and licorice. Samuel could be a real jokester with caregivers and especially enjoyed his rain stick.
