Kenneth Wayne Ogerly

Kenneth Wayne Ogerly, 83, of Littlefield, Texas entered eternal life on Saturday, August 29, 2026. He was born on September 10,1942, in Littlefield, Texas to Roy ‘Rufus’ Ogerly and Marie (Spoede) Ogerly.

Kenneth was a member of the Lutheran Church in Littlefield. He was a loving father and grandfather. He enjoyed every moment spent with his daughter and his family and friends. In fact, one of his treasured rewards in life was being ' Papa w’ to his grandson, Kort. As of lately, a lot of his time he enjoyed spending with his special Lady, Bobbie. Kenneth had a genuine heart and was a loyal friend. He truly cared for others. His personal traits extended to having a great sense of humor and being witty. The gift of laughter was the greatest he gave to those he encountered. Kenneth was known to be a jokester and loved to pull pranks on anyone and everyone.

Although Kenneth traveled many miles to and from, he was a native of Littlefield, Texas. Kenneth was a truck driver for many years. In 1964 he began his trucking career and in 1980 he landed at Robert Heath Trucking where he retired after 30+ years. Kenneth was known as ‘KO’ to his fellow truckers. Moreover, he was proud to be from West Texas and was fond of his horses and cattle he had at the farm. Kenneth loved going to rodeos, especially going to Vegas for the National Finals Rodeo.

Those left to cherish his memories are his daughter, La Rhonda Hill and spouse, Rick of Sudan, Texas; a grandson, Kort Hill of Lubbock, Texas; five brothers, Darrell Ogerly of Longview, Texas, Ralph Ogerly of Amherst, Texas, Wendell Ogerly of Littlefield, Texas, Terry Ogerly of Pine, Colorado, and Jerry Ogerly and wife, Malee of Western Australia; a special Lady friend, Bobbie Jensen of Lubbock, Texas; numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

Kenneth is preceded in death by his parents, ‘Rufus’ and Marie Ogerly; and one brother, ‘Roy’ Rufus Ogerly, Jr.

Graveside services were held Thursday morning, September 3,2026, at Littlefield Memorial Park in Littlefield, Texas with Tracy Spencer officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Kort Hill, Rick Hill, Kerry Ogerly, Shannon Ogerly, Osvaldo Solono, and Larry Robertson.

Arrangements were under the personal care of Hillcrest Funeral Home in Littlefield, Texas.
