The Littlefield varsity cross country teams competed at the Castleberry Invitational in Fort Worth, Tx last Friday, the JV teams competed at the Brownfield Jamboree.
Senior, Noah Villanueva, led the Wildcats with a first place finish in the boy’s race, clocking a time of 16:30.66.
Junior, Jasiaha Hernandez, placed 32nd overall with a time of 18:19.78, while sophomore, Angel Pacheco, finished 39th with a time of 18:26.07, and junior, Aydan Manicchia, finished 132nd with a time of 2123.55.
Junior, DaylanNorwood, finished 140th with a time of 21:55.34, and ireshman, Carson Robinson finished 146th with a time of22:21.44.
The Lady Cats finished 3rd overall as a team with 90 points, led by freshman, Myah Castillo, who placed sixth overallwithatime of 14:21, 73.
Junior, Anaei Ojeda, finished 15th overall with a time of 14:56.95, whilejunior, Adriarma Caudillo, finished 21st with a time of 15:32.78, and sophomore, Alyson Hernandez, finished 22nd with a time of 15:37.73.
Junior, Aubree Richardson, finished 26th with a time of 15:43.41, and junior, Jazmin Almance, finished 36th with a timeofl6:13.34.
For the Wildcat’s JV, Johnny Shea placed fifth overall in Brownfield with a time of 23:59.71, while Craig Jennings finished 6th overall with a time of24:17.99.
The Lady Cat’s JV team placed second overall as a team, led by Bella Enloe, who placed fourth overall, clocking a time of 17:13.11. Rhealee Golden placed sixth overall with a time of 17:16.80, while Addy Figueroa placed seventh with a time of 17:45.54, and Bailee Griffin placed eighth with a time ofl8:07.93.
Denise Hinostroza finished 11th with a time of 19:05.96, and Dalinda Habekott finished
12,h with a time of 19:07.47.
