The Olton Colts and Fillies junior high cross country teams competed at the Canyon Eagle six-mile relay last Saturday, as their 2026 season got underway.
In the girl’s individual race, Valarie Magallanes placed eighth overall with a time of 11:49, while Elyn Montemayor joined her in the top 10, finishing ninth overall with a time of 11:50.
In the boy’s individual race, Marco Reyes placed second overall with a time of 9:52.51, while Eann Montemayor finished 12th overall with a time of 11:29.92.
