Agundiz places third at STate golf meet to lead wolverines

    The Springlake- Earth Wolverines’ varsity golf team competed at the State Golf Tournament in Leander on April 27th and 28th, where they finished 11th as a team.

    The Wolverines were led by senior, Froylan Agundiz, who placed third overall individually. Agundiz shot a 79 on both days of the tournament for a total of 158.

    Jacob Alvarez shot a 93 on day one and 97 on day two for a total of 190, while Ethan Mosqueda shot a 95 on day one and a 103 on day two for a total of 198. Bryan Longoria shot a 111 on day one and a 109 on day two for a total of 220, and Easton Bradley shot a 119 on both days for a total of 238.
