The Littlefield Wildcats’ varsity baseball team shut out the SJCA Patriots on Friday, 10-0.
Blayton Soliz pitched five innings for the Wildcats, giving up three hits and one walk, while earning five strike outs.
Littlefield struck first in the bottom of the first with one run, before adding three in the bottom of the third, fourth and fifth inning to take the contest, 10-0.
The Wildcats tallied 11 hits as a team, led by Dawson Adkins who had a double and two RBI’s. Cayson Villareal added two hits, including a double and one RBI, while Jayden Kirkland chipped in two hits, including a double and one RBI.
CJ Weaver also recorded a double in the contest, while Mata tallied a hit and an RBI, and Kyzer Billingsley recorded two hits. Brayden Black and Ana Ayala each recorded a hit and Soliz had a walk in the contest.
