The Littlefield Wildcats’ varsity football team was well represented on the District 2-3A All-District teams, headlined by senior linebacker, Ben Castillo, who was named Co-Defensive MVP for the district.
First team All-District Offensive selections include, junior wide receiver, Jayden Barrio; senior offensive lineman, Uriel Ibarra; and senior utility player, Nate Castaneda.
First team All-District Defensive selections include, junior defensive back, Jayden Barrio; senior inside linebacker, Jacob Silvas; sophomore outside linebacker, Sammy Saenz; junior defensive lineman, AJ Cantu; and junior kicker, Jayden Barrio.
Second team All-District Offensive selections, include sophomore quarterback, Sammy Saenz; junior running back, Blayton Soliz; senior receiver, Zane Champion; senior fullback Cooper Price; junior center, CJ Weaver and senior offensive lineman, Tate Clark.
Second team All-District Defensive selections include, junior defensive back, Gabe Mata; senior defensive lineman, Uriel Ibarra; junior punter, Jayden Barrio; and junior kick/punt returner, Jayden Barrio.
Those earning honorable mention were: junior wide receiver, Gabe Mata; sophomore offensive lineman, James Lockridge; junior offensive lineman, Elijah Rodriguez, and sophomore outside linebacker, Jonas Camacho.
