The judges rated the band 2-2-2, meaning we were awarded an overall Division 2. “Months of hard work, long hours, failures, successes, road blocks, and overcoming road blocks goes into one eight-minute performance judged by a panel of three individuals seeing a snapshot of our journey,” they said. “This snapshot may not be where we need to be to advance to state, though it also does not reflect the growth in the group from the previous year to now, August to now, or even last week to now. It also does not reflect the heart poured into their craft by our students and the joy this craft brings to our audience each week.” They added, “We will take the comments we've received and use them to help us work to achieve the next level, while striving to be the best musicians and people we can be. For now, we encourage our students to take some time to rest and enjoy a little more free time.” (Submitted Photo) Littlefield senior linebacker, Ben Castillo makes a touchdown saving tackle, dragging down Muleshoe’s Josue Sigala in the open field, during the Wildcats’, 50-26, victory over the Mules on Friday at Wildcat Stadium.
