Littlefield hosted their annual Invitational Cross Country Meet last Saturday, where the Wildcats placed third as a team with 111 points and the girls finished seventh as a team with 145 points.
The varsity boys were led by junior, Noah Villanueva, who placed third overall, clocking a time of 16:32.06. Freshman, Angel Pacheco, finished 13th overall with a time of 18:09.03, while junior,Anastasio Ayala, finished 42nd overall with a time of 19:41.12.
Senior, Ramiro Candelario, finished 46th overall with a time of 19:50.31, while junior, Isaac Mata, finished 48th with a time of 20:07.38, and sophomore, Aydan Manicchia, finished 50th with a time of 20:11.37.
The varsity girls were led by sophomore,Anaei Ojeda, who placed fourth overall with a time of 13:47.83. Junior, Cobi Saldana, finished 24th overall with a time of 14:30.44, while sophomore,Adrianna Caudillo, finished 34th with a time of 15:09.08, and sophomore, Jazmin Almance, finished 43rd overall with a time of 15:26.69.
Freshman, Adyleigh Rodriguez, finished 48th with a time of 15:33.28, while senior, Kealee Bussey, finished 81st with a time of 18:34.75.
For the JV girls, they were led by freshman, Alyson Hernandez, who finished 30th overall with a time of 17:33.01, and junior, Rhealee Golden, who finished 38th overall with a time of 18:11.23.
The JV boys were led by freshman, Carlos Almance, who finished 13th overall with a time of 21:19.15, and senior, KadenApplegate, who finished 18th overall with a time of 20:01.71. Sophomore, Craig Jennings, finished 25th overall with a time of 23:05.70, while freshman, Jacob Rodriguez, finished 30th overall with a time of 23:50.43, and senior, Jayden Kirkland, finished 31st overall with a time of 24:02.45.
Senior, Chase Coronado, finished 32nd with a time of 24:24.68, while freshman, Luke McKinnerney, finished 33rd with a time of 24:33.14. Sophomore, Brayden Black, finished 35th with a time of 25:07.95.
