Noah Villanueva leads varsity Wildcats XC team to third place team finish at Dimmitt

The Littlefield varsity boy’s cross country teams competed at the Dimmitt Invitational on August 30th, where they placed third overall as a team with 75 points and the JV boys finished 2nd as a team with 56 points.

The varsity boys were led by Noah Villanueva, who placed first overall to win the meet, clocking a time of 15:21, while Angel Pacheco finished sixth overall with a time of 16:10. Ramiro Candelario finished 17th overall with a time of 17:38, while Anastasio Ayala clocked a time of 17:53, which was good for 21st overall. Ayden Manicchia finished 29th overall with a time of 18:30.

For the varsity girls, they were led by Sophie Garcia, who finished 19th overall, clocking a time of 15:04. Adrianna Caudillo finished 27th overall with a time of 15:30, while Evelynn Castillo finished 33rd with a time of 15:55.17, and Jasmine Almance finished 37th with a time of 16.14.

On the JV side, Daylan Norwood placed first overall with a time of 18:30, while Carlos Almance finished ninth overall with a time of 19: 13. Kaden Applegate and Jacob Rodriguez finished 14th and 15th, respectively, clocking times of 20:03 and 20:04, while Craig Jennings finished 17th overall with a time of 21:11. Luke McKinnereny finished 20th with a time of 22:17, while Brayden Black finished 24th with a time of 23:10.

The JV girls were led by Addy Rodriguez, who finished 11th overall with a time of 17:17. Alyson Hernandez finished 21st overall with a time of 18:00, while Bailee Griffin finished 24th with a time of 18:36.
