The Olton Mustang’s varsity basketball team captured the Class 2A-DI Bi-District Championship over New Deal with a, 72-49, victory on Tuesday at Lubbock-Cooper Liberty High School.
With the win, the Mustangs are 27-4 overall on the year.
The Mustangs led by just 12 points at the half, 38-26, before pulling away in the second half. In the second half, the Mustangs outscored the Lions, 34-23, to take the contest, 72-49.
The Mustangs took on West on Friday at Tascosa High School in the Class 2A-DI Area Championship. Results were not available at press time.
