Dear Editor and Readers, I write on behalf of Littlefield Cemetery Association. This is also known as the “Old Cemetery.” We are completely separate from Memorial Park. At the present time we have 79 members. We are funded by membership payments, the sale of plots and donations. Our goal is to keep the cemetery clean, mowed and cared for the best we can.
This is the time of year we try to raise money to help us through the coming year.
All money goes for up keep on mowing, shredding, dirt work on graves, if needed, road maintenance, and repair and maintenance on equipment, and not to forget fuel!
The cemetery is looking nice as summer turns to fall. Thanks to the men who work out there.
If you can do some work, please do so, if you can make a donation please do, any amount, any time.
Dues are $25 per member, per year, plus a one-time payment of $1 for membership. (See form below.)
Thank you to those who have paid dues or helped in any way.
The care of the cemetery reflects on our town. We need to honor the many people buried out there by keeping their final resting place in good condition.
