The Springlake-Earth Cross Country teams competed at the Dimmitt Invitational last Saturday. The varsity girls were led by Aabriella Villanueva, who placed fourth overall with a time of 14:18. Aryca Ibarra finished 12th with a time of 14:35, while Yareli Cortez finished 50th overall with a time of 16:19. Marisela Rodriguez finished 60th with a time of 16:35, while Brizza Reyes finished 68th with a time of 16:58 and Jocelyn Salas finished 70th with a time of 17:57.
The varsity boys were led by Kaylob Frietze, who finished 14th overall with a time of 18:22. Nathan Ramos finished 33rd overall with a time of 20:07, while Josiah Castillo finished 53rd with a time of 25:44.00. The Springlake-Earth Cross Country teams were back in action on Saturday at the Lubbock Invitational at Mae Simmons Park. Results were not available at press time.
