The Littlefield Cross Country teams competed at the Dimmitt Invitational last Saturday.
The varsity boys were led by Noah Villanueva, who placed fourth overall with a time of 17:09. Ramiro Candelario finished fifth overall, clocking a time of 17:42, while Thomas Jasso finished 15th with a time of 18:28.
Anastasio Ayala finished 28th overall with a time of 19:32, while Brandon Marines finished 29th clocking a time of 19:38 and Cesar Garcia rounded out the group finishing 30th with a time of 19:42.
For the varsity girls, they were led by Cobi Saldana, who finished 18th overall, clocking a time of 14:51. Anaei Ojeda finished 25th overall with a time of 15:05, while Brinley Acevedo finished 31st with a time of 15:19, and Evelynn Castillo finished 32nd clocking a time of 15:20. Arian MacDonald finished 44th with a time of 15:54.2. The JV girls were led by Jasmin Alamance who finished 10th overall, while Sophie Garcia finished 18th, Jaelyn Tijerina finished 35th, Ytzallana Cedillo finished 37th and Sam Duran finished 41st.
The Cross Country teams will be back in action on Saturday as they travel to Lubbock for the Lubbock Invitational at Mae Simmons Park.
