The Littlefield Wildcat and Lady Cat Cross Country teams competed at the West Texas A&M Twilight Meet on Thursday night in Canyon.
The varsity girls competed in the small school race, where Evelynn Castillo placed second overall with a time of 15:12.74. Also finishing in the top 10 was Anaei Ojeda, who placed seventh overall with a time of 15:49.29, and Adrianna Caudillo, who finished ninth with a time of 16:24.49. Rounding out the top 10 was Brinley Acevedo, who clocked a time of 16:29.58.
On the varsity boys side in the small school race, Noah Villanueva placed second overall with a time of 11:52.97, while Thomas Jasso finished sixth overall with a time of 12:54.02. Anastasio Ayala finished ninth with a time of 13:19.95, while Cesar Garcia finished 12th with a time of 13:29.81, and Brandon Marines finished 13th, clocking a time of 13:30.81.
For the JV boys, Aydan Simpson finished third overall with a time of 13:29.46.
For the JV girls, Arian MacDonald finished 12th with a time of 16:38.90, while Bailee Griffin finished 20th with a time of 19:02.68, and Samantha Duran finished 28th with a time 21:25.72.
