The Littlefield cross country teams competed in their first cross country meet of the season last Saturday at the Derek Hernandez Memorial Relay Race in Andrews.
The Boys finished 10th overall with 108 points, while the girls finished 10th overall with 139 points.
On the boy’s side, the team of Ramiro Candelario and Brandon Marines clocked a time of 40:19.98 to finish 26th overall, while Noah Villanueva and Thomas Jasso finished 31st with a time of 41:22.22. Anastasio Ayala and Cesar Garcia finished 51st with a time of 45:19.85.
On the girl’s side, the team of Anaei Ojeda and Adrianna Caudillo finished 35th overall with a time of 52:30.39, while the team of Arian MacDonald and Evelynn Castillo finished 38th overall with a time of 53:03.47. The team of Jazmin and Sam Duran finished 66th with a time of 1:04:55.14.
