Sudan Nettes’ Head Coach, Benny Lockhart picked up his 500th career win as a head coach, as the Nettes topped the Ralls Lady Rabbits, 79-24, in Sudan.
With the win, the Nettes improve to 13-5 overall, 2-1 in district play.
Sudan opened the contest with a 17-point outing in the first quarter and they netted 21 points in the seocnd frame to take a, 38-10, lead into the locker room at halftime.
The Nettes outscored the Lady Rabbits, 20-8, in the third quarter and, 21-6, in the fourth quarter, en route to the victory.
Edette Herrera led the Nettes with 19 points, to go along with eight rebounds, four steals and one assist, while Blessy Montes tallied 19 points, three rebounds, three assists and three steals. Melo Rodriguez chipped in 13 points, 12 steals, nine assists and seven rebounds, while Addison Cornelius contributed 10 points, eight rebounds, one assist, one steal and one block.
Emry Humphreys tallied six points, four rebounds and two steals, while Kaileigh Greenwalt chipped in six points, six assists, three steals and two rebounds and Erica Herrera added four points, five rebounds and three steals. Lexi Jennings finished with two points, two steals and one rebound.
The Nettes will host Sands after the Christmas holiday in nondistrict action. Tip-off is scheduled for 1 p.m.
