Lamb Healthcare Center is hosting their annual Cookies with Santa on Dec. 3rd at the LHC Atrium from 3 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.There will be cookies, pictures and a small gift from Santa for the kids.The price per picture is $5 and you can purchase multiple poses/copies.

State Sales Tax Revenue Totaled $4.2 Billion in October

(AUSTIN) — Acting Texas Comptroller Kelly Hancock today said state sales tax revenue totaled $4.2 billion in October, 4.6 percent more than in October 2024. The majority of October sales tax revenue is based on sales made in September and remitted to the agency in October.

Prop 4 Receives Voter Approval: Senator Perry Shares Legislative Updates at GMA 2 Meeting

Texas voters overwhelmingly approved Proposition 4 on the November 4 ballot, as the measure received 70.42% support. The issue was placed on the ballot after the passage of SB 7 (Perry) and HJR 7 (Harris) during the 2025 legislative session.
