At the Regional UIL Congress meet, the Sudan High School Congress team realized the following results: Alissa Montes won 3rd place.
Caden Edens won 2nd State Alternate.
Scarlett Pool won 3rd State Alternate.
William Armstrong finished 7th. Angelina Godwin finished 8th.
Angelina was also the 2A Outstanding Presiding Officer.
Alissa, Caden and Scarlett will be travelling to the State competition in Austin on January 6, 2026.
This was a fabulous finish considering that Sudan High School graduated it’s entire Congress team last year and these students are all new to the event this year.
