Sudan High School One-Act Play named District Champions, advance to bi-district

Sudan High School One-Act Play students are once again district champions after competing at the UIL District Meet on March 3, 2026.“These students rose to the challenge and are continuing the rich traditions of Sudan High School academics,” One-Act Play Director Jonathan Robertson said.

SNAP restrictions take effect April 1

Lady Cats throttle Idalou, 21-1

The Littlefield Lady Cats’ varsity softball team throttled the Idalou Lady Cats on Tuesday, 21-1, in their first meeting in Littlefield.With the win, the Lady Cats improve to 2-1 in district play.

Lfd. Board of Trustees hold regular meeting

The Littlefield Independent School District’s Board of Trustees met in Regular Session on Monday, March 9th, in the Board Room of Jerry Blakely Administration Building.The meeting was called to order at 6:52 p.m. by Board President Reese Rogers, and the invocation was given by Will Williams.

The Olton Chamber of Commerce and Agriculture hosted its annual banquet on March 7, 2026, honoring various residents through the presentation of Teacher, Family, Support Staff, Woman, Man and Citizen of the Year Awards.
