A good week for cotton as prices test 85 cents

It was a great end to the week for cotton, but the six-month trading range remains unbroken. Early in the week, the market tested a major resistance low, stopped on a dime, and headed north, not slowing until the July futures contract tested major resistance at 85 cents.

Coins For Kids Celebration for the Neuroblastoma Foundation was held at Littlefield Primary. This is something we have done for the past 10 years. This organization helps families with children that have cancer. They help with, gas cards, motel rooms, food and also with research.

2023 BI-DISTRICT CHAMPS - The Littlefield Wildcats’ varsity baseball team won their Class 3A Bi-district series over Stanton at Lamesa on Friday and Saturday, taking game 1, 19-1, and game 2, 10-0. The Wildcats will battle with the Idalou Wildcats on Thursday and Friday. Game one will be at 7 p.m.

On May 18th at 8:00 p.m., the Littlefield High School Student Council will host Senior Sunset. A sunset is symbolic to the end of the day, and as the class of 2023 closes their high school chapter of life, the Student Council would like to invite all LHS Seniors to join us at the football field.
