The City of Littlefield and Lamb County Veterinary Hospital hosted the annual vaccination event at the the Littlefield Fire Dept. on Saturday, May 6, 2023. The event offers residents the opportunity to vaccinate their dogs without having to make appointments during the work week. Vaccinations are required for all pets in the community. Dr. Schroeder’s Boston terrier reassures a pup who is being registered for vaccinations as April Jiminez registers his owner.

SWEARING IN - Littlefield Independent School District’s Board of Trustees met in regular session on Tuesday, during lunch, where three members were sworn in for the new term. Hervey Valdez Jr. and Johnny Castillo were re-elected and newly elected board member Sal Acevedo will be replacing the spot of Adrian Solis, who retired after spending 13 years on the LISD School Board.
