Peels to Celebrate 70th Wedding Anniversary

Mr. and Mrs. Jack Peel will celebrate their 70th wedding anniversary this weekend at home with a small family gathering. Jack and Pearl were married June 4, 1953 in Spade, Texas. They are parents of Bruce and Terri Peel of Kingsland, Texas and Kenneth Peel of New Braunfels, Texas.

Scholarship winners announced by Lamb County Farm Bureau

Sarah Payne and Kyndal Edwards are the recipients of the 2023 Lilburn Bales Memorial Scholarship funded by Lamb County Farm Bureau. Sarah is a homeschool graduate and is the daughter of Robert and Christy Payne of Amherst.
