Sr. Citizens serving lunch on Wednesdays

The Lamb County Senior Citizens’ are back in business for Wednesday lunhes. On Wednesdays at noon, potluck meals are served, with members taking their favorite dish to share, or by paying a $6 lunch fee. The Center operates on donations of any amount.

LCEC’s 85th Annual Meeting set for Tuesday, drive-thru at Wildcat Stadium parking lot

In years past, during the third week in September, the Lamb County Ag Center has served as the event location for Lamb County Electric Cooperative’s Annual Meeting. However, it is undergoing renovations, and has been closed to the public since July.

After over 25 years in the retail business, Anita Tucker the owner/ baker at Pure Cravings Bakery is now following her passion to open her own bakery. Mrs. Tucker stated that after years of driving to Clovis every day to work, she wanted to slow the hectic pace of her life.

Cochran County Farm Fair set for Thursday, Sept. 21

The Cochran County Farm Fair is set for Sept. 21, 2023 at the County Show Barn located at 1883 FM 1780 in Morton, Texas. Booth Registration is set for 9 a.m. A free lunch will be provided by River Smith’s from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
