Sr. Citizens serving lunch on Wednesdays

The Lamb County Senior Citizens’ are back in business for Wednesday lunhes. On Wednesdays at noon, potluck meals are served, with members taking their favorite dish to share, or by paying a $6 lunch fee. The Center operates on donations of any amount.

Employees, community members give back for Xcel Energy’s Day of Service

Annual event contributed 7,200 volunteer hours, $230,000 in economic impact Nearly 2,500 volunteers from Xcel Energy and the communities it serves took action to support nonprofit organizations during the company’s 13th annual Day of Service earlier this month.

LHC ‘Team Builders’ to host 11th Annual ‘Safe Halloween’

Lamb Healthcare Center “Team Builders” will be hosting its 11th annual “ Safe Halloween” Trunk or Treat Halloween on Tuesday afternoon, Oct. 31, from 5 to 6 p.m. or until all candy and treats have been given out. The event will take place on the north parking lot in front of the hospital.

Commissioners to meet Monday

A special meeting of the Lamb County Commissioners’ Court will be held at 9 a.m. Monday, Sept. 25, 2023, in the Lamb County Courthouse, where a 12—item agenda will be considered for appropriate action.
