LCEC Youth Tour applications are due on Wednesday, Jan. 17

Lamb County Electric Coop, Inc. announces its Government-In-Action Youth Tour Contest, which is set for Sunday, January 28th at 2 p.m. The competition will take place at LCEC located at 2415 S Phelps Ave. in Littlefield. The deadline to apply for the contest is Wednesday, January 17, 2024, by 5 p.

Texas Wins 2023 State of the Year

Governor Greg Abbott today celebrated that Texas has been named 2023 State of the Year by Business Facilities magazine in recognition of the state's best-inthe- nation business climate, economic development leadership, and a 'blockbuster 2023 for capital investment and job creation.

Commissioners meet in regular session Monday

The Commissioner’s Court of Lamb County met in regular session on Monday, Jan. 8th, at the Lamb County Court House in Littlefield. Lamn County Judge James DeLoach called the meeting to order at 10 a.m. and there was nobody present to comment during the public comment portion of the meeting.

Angelo State University announces local graduates

Fall 2023 Graduates Angelo State University in San Angelo, Texas, conferred 625 undergraduate and graduate degrees on 620 graduates during the 2023 fall commencement exercises on Dec. 16 at the ASU Junell Center/ Stephens Arena.
