LHC asking for help to decorate dining area

Lamb Healthcare Center is wanting to decorate their dining room. LHC needs help from the towns that make up Lamb County, which are Littlefield, Sudan, Olton, Amherst, Spade, Fieldton, Springlake and Earth. LHC is asking residents to submit landscape pictures of their town.

On Jan. 14, 2023, during Pastor McCarty’s 90th birthday celebration, Mayor Eric Turpen made a significant announcement. The City of Littlefield would now commemorate every Jan. 14th as National John D. McCarty Day.

The Littlefield Junior High School released the Honor Rolls for the third six weeks. “ A” HONOR ROLL Sixth Grade: Aurbie Torres, Jaden Winters and Kaden Winters. Seventh Grade: Jacob Fuentes. Eighth Grade: Piper Carr, Katharina Hill, Craig Jennings and Samuel Saenz.

The Littlefield independent School District’s Board of Trustees met in regular session on Thursday, Jan. 18th to discuss a 13-item agenda. The meeting was called to order at 7 p.m. by Board President Pat Demel and the invocation was given by Gary Birkelbach.

Town Hall Meeting in Olton

The Association of Texas Small School Bands is pleased to announce the selection of the 2024 ATSSB All State Band. More than 10,000 high school band students from across Texas auditioned in 22 different regions for a place in their respective all region bands.
