The Commissioners Court of Lamb County convened in regular session on Monday, Jan. 22nd, in the Lamb County Courthouse to discuss an eight-item agenda.
Lamb County Judge James DeLoach called the meeting to or-der and there was no one present to comment during the public comment portion of the meeting.
Consent agenda items; (a)Consider and take appropriate action on minutes from previous meeting(s); Regular Meeting, January 8, 2024 and Special Meeting, January 12, 2024.
(b) Consider and take appropriate action on budget and salary amendments and/or line item transfers; None.
(c) Consider and take appropriate action on bills presented by the County Auditor; presented by Gina Jones.
(d) Consider and take appropriate action on payroll; presented by Jerry Yarbrough.
(e) Consider and take appropriate action on departmental reports; large packet.
(f) Consider and take appropriate action on approving Treasurer’s Quarterly Report; presented by Jerry Yarbrough.
The motion was made by Commissioner Lee Logan and seconded by Commissioner Danny Short to approve the consent agenda items. The motion carried.
Item four on the agenda was to consider and take appropriate action on Interlocal agreement with SPAG to write grant with TDEM.
The motion was made by Commissioner Cory DeBerry and seconded by Commissioner Short to approve Interlocal agreement with SPAG to write grant with TDEM. The motion carried.
The next order of business was to consider and take appropriate action to change the classification of a position in the District Clerks Office.
The motion was made by Commissioner Logan and seconded by Commissioner Kent Lewis to approve action to change the classification of a position in the Dis- trict Clerks Office. The motion carried.
The next item on the agenda was to discuss Lamb Healthcare Center operations.
Mike McNutt gave operational reports on Lamb Healthcare Center. Dylan Brown gave financial reports on Lamb Healthcare Center.
Carla Synatschk was in attendance also and gave praise reports to all that are making a difference in the Lamb Healthcare Center operations.
Future agenda items were discussed.
With there being no further business to come before this Commissioners Court, motion was made by Commissioner Logan and seconded by Commissioner Short to adjourn. The motion carried.
