The Texas labor market reached historic highs in 2023, breaking records in employment growth and civilian labor force. In December, the state’s seasonally adjusted job count reached 14,103,300 jobs, an increase of 19,100 over the month—marking 27 consecutive months of new series employment highs.

Winners of the Earth Springlake Livestock Show announced

There were 133 animals that were shown last Thursday at the 2024 Earth Springlake Livestock show on Jan. 25th. There were 15 lambs shown, six goats, four steers, two heifers and 21 barrows. Sloane Beerwinkle won Grand Champion Steer, while Slade Beerwinkle won Reserve Grand Champion Steer.
