Olton Chamber of Commerce and Agriculture hosting annual Easter Egg Hunt

The Olton Chamber of Commerce and Agriculture is hosting their annual Easter Egg Hunt on March 30th at the Olton Mustang Football Field.The event is free and registration starts at 1 p.m. The event is for children fifth grade and younger. Accomodations will be made for children with special needs.

LISD School Board holds regular meeting Thursday

The Littlefield Independent School District’s Board of Trustees met in regular session on Thursday during lunch to discuss a 15-item agenda.The meeting was called to order at 12 p.m. by Board President Pat Demel and the invocation was given by Gary Birkelbach.

The Littlefield Lady Cats’ varsity softball team got distrrict play started on the right foot on Saturday, as they run-ruled the Denver City Fillies, 21-11, in six innings at Lady Cat Field.With the win, the Lady Cats improve to 11-1 overall, 1-0 in district play.
