It’s seal coat season in the Lubbock District

More than 365 miles of roadways part of preventative maintenance projectMore than 365 miles of state roadways are scheduled for preventative maintenance work this summer. The roads are part of the Lubbock District’s 2024 seal coat program.

2024 16-U STATE CHAMPIONS - The Littlefield Lady Cats 16-U All-Star Team captured the West texas Babe Ruth Softball 16-U State Championship this past weekend, punching their ticket to the World Series in Alabama. They also won the 2024 16-U Southwest Regional to become the Regional Champions.

Burn Ban no longer in effect

Effective Tuesday morning, Lamb County Judge James DeLoach has canceled the Lamb County Burn Ban.The Burn Ban will be considered again at the next Lamb County Commissioners Court Meeting on June 24th.

Commissioners hold regular meeting Monday

The Commissioners Court of Lamb County held their regular meeting on Monday, June 10th at 10 a.m. in the Lamb County Courthouse, which is located in Littlefield to discuss an eight-item agenda.Lamb County Judge James DeLoach called the meeting to order at 10 a.m.
