Since 2006, Cotton Incor-porated’s Blue Jeans Go Green program has collected denim (made from cotton) so it can be recycled back to its original fiber state and transformed into something new.

The Lamb County Grand Jury for the January Term A.D. 2024 of the Lamb County 154th Judicial District Court met on Wednesday, June 19, 2024, when a total of 31 indictments were returned, seven of which have not been arrested at this time.

‘Heroes Among Us’ Parade set for Saturday, July 20th

The Littlefield Chamber of Commerce presents the “Heroes Among Us Parade”, which will be held Saturday, July 20th at 10 a.m.Prizes will be given out for Best Float, Favorite Car Entry, Most Patriotic and Best Youth Entry.Judging will start at 9:30 a.m.

Panhandle Parade of Breeds attracts young people

The 42nd annual Panhandle Parade of Breeds drew a sizeable crowd to the Ollie Liner Center over the weekend.The show is a special showcase of cattle being raised and trained by young showmen from across the state.

Brenden Bowman signs to play baseball for WBU

Littlefield’s Brenden Bowman signed his offer on Tuesday evening to continue his baseball and academic career at Wayland Baptist University.The former Wildcat signed during a small ceremony at Wildcat Baseball Field, surrounded by family, friends, teammates, classmates and coaches.

Springlake VFD to host annual July 4th Celebration

Springlake’s annual July 4th Celebration will be getting underway at 5 p.m. Thursday, July 4, 2024, when entries in the annual parade will be lining up in the area on the south side of the city.The parade will start moving northward down Highway 385 at 6 p.m.
