The 42nd annual Panhandle Parade of Breeds drew a sizeable crowd to the Ollie Liner Center over the weekend.
The show is a special showcase of cattle being raised and trained by young showmen from across the state.
Stock show season peaks in January so this is a midway point in year for animal projects. Mary Bass, secretary for the Parade of Breeds, said the show is allows participants to share their progress.
This year’s event drew 378 head of cattle including 51 Progress Steers, 261 Prospect Steers and 66 Heifers.
