Pep Famous Sausage Sale set for Nov. 27

St. Philip Neri Catholic Church of Pep, Texas will host their annual Thanksgiving Sausage Sales on Wednesday, Nov 27, 2024, 7am until 5pm.Pep’s famous German sausage, Breakfast sausage, Sauerkraut, Homemade bread and Desserts will be for sale in the parish hall from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m.

Littlefield Student Council and NJHS sponsored a canned food drive at Littlefield Junior High for the Food Pantry at the Littlefield Methodist Church.They collected over 1,000 cans for the Littlefield Methodist Churches’ Food Pantry over three weeks.

Lfd. Board of Trustees hold regular meeting

The Littlefield Independent School District Board of Trustees met in Regular Session on Monday, November 18th at 7 p.m. in the Board Room of the Jerry Blakely Administration Building. The meeting was called to order at 7 p.m. by Board President Gary Birkelbach and he also gave the Invocation.

On November 19th, 2024, at approximately 6: 35 p. m., the Littlefield Police Department received a call regarding a possible deceased individual located near the intersection of eastbound US 84 and CR 313 in Littlefield, Texas.

State Sales Tax Revenue Totaled $4 Billion in October

Texas Comptroller Glenn Hegar today said state sales tax revenue totaled $4.01 billion in October, 5.4 percent more than in October 2023. The majority of October sales tax revenue is based on sales made in September and remitted to the agency in October.
