On November 19th, 2024, at approximately 6: 35 p. m., the Littlefield Police Department received a call regarding a possible deceased individual located near the intersection of eastbound US 84 and CR 313 in Littlefield, Texas.
Littlefield PD, EMS, Fire Department, and Texas DPS State Troopers responded to the scene. Upon arrival, a male pedestrian was found to have been struck by a vehicle and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The vehicle is believed to have struck the pedestrian then fled the scene without rendering aid or contacting emergency services.
The Littlefield Police Department has initiated a criminal investigation into the incident with DPS assistance.
The pedestrian was identified as Clifford Ray Turner, a 48-yearold resident of Littlefield.
