The Olton Mustang’s varsity baseball team opened district play on Monday, as junior, Jaxon Tomsu, blasted a two-run walk-off homerun to right field to lift the Mustangs over the Hale Center Owls, 10-8.With the win, the Mustangs improved to 4-8 overall, 1-0 in district play.

A Tree Care and Maintenance Workshop will be held Friday, March 22nd at the Sudan Community Center at 109 E. 1st Ave in Sudan, Texas, from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.The workshop will begin at 9:30 a.m. with coffee and donuts being served.

The Olton Mustangs’ varsity baseball team won their second game on Thursday at the Lamb County Classic, as they took down Kress, 14-3, in five innings.With the win, the Mustangs improved to 1-1 in tournament play on the weekend.

The Sudan Hornets’ varstiy baseball team won a road-contest over the Springlake-Earth Wolverines baseball team on Monday, 145.With the win, the Hornets improve to 5-3 overall on the year, while the Wolverines fall to 0-3-1 overall on the season.
