Anton basketball players earn All-District honors

The Anton Bulldogs and Lady Dawgs basketball teams had several kids earn All-District honors. On the boy’s side, juniors, Jose Avalos and Gavin Martinez were All-District team selections, while junior, Mason Anderson and sophomore, Zian Martinez earned Honorable Mention.

Wildcats take down lobos at home, 10-4

The Littlefield Wildcats’ varsity baseball team handed the Levelland Lobos a, 10- 4, loss at Wildcat Field on Tuesday afternoon in non- district play.With the win, the Wildcats improve to 5- 5 overall on the season.

Nettes blast Lockney, 252, in first district meeting

The Sudan Nettes’ varsity softball team throttled the Lockney Lady Horns on the road on Tuesday, 25-2, in district play.With the win, the Nettes improve to 2-1 in district play.Sudan came out strong out of the gate with a nine-run first inning, taking a, 9-1, lead into the second inning.

The Olton Mustang’s varsity baseball team opened district play on Monday, as junior, Jaxon Tomsu, blasted a two-run walk-off homerun to right field to lift the Mustangs over the Hale Center Owls, 10-8.With the win, the Mustangs improved to 4-8 overall, 1-0 in district play.
