The Springlake-Earth varsity track teams competed at the Piper Relays in Hamlin on Saturday with the Wolverines placing fourth with 50 points and the Lady Wolverines finishing sixth with 43 points. Individual results are as follows:

The Olton varsity track teams competed at the Panhandle Spring Break Worker’s Meet at Panther Stadium in Panhandle on Friday with the Mustangs finishing 10th overall with 12 points, while the Fillies finished T-10th overall with 2 points. Individual results are as follows:

Olton junior high track teams compete at Roughneck Relays

The Olton Junior High seventh and eighth grade track teams competed at the Roughneck Relays in Sundown on Thursday. The seventh grade boys got third place with 234 points, while the seventh grade girls finished fifth with 130 points. The eighth grade girls placed third with 170 points, while the eighth grade boys finished fifth with 152 points.

LADY CATS OPEN DISTRICT PLAY AGAINST LAMESA

The Littlefield Lady Cats’ varsity softball team couldn’t get the offense going, as they fell to Lamesa in their district-opener on Thursday, as they fell to the Lady Tornadoes, 17-0. With the loss, the Lady Cats fall to 7-5 overall, 0-1 in district play.

GAU NO-HITTER HELPS LADY CATS PAST LCHS, 18-0

The Littlefield Lady Cats’ varsity softball team took down Lubbock Christian High School on Saturday, 18-0, behind a no-hit bid in the circle by senior, Brookelyn Gau. With the win, the Lady Cats go into district play with an overall mark of 7-4.

The Littlefield Wildcats’ varsity baseball team got back in the win column on Saturday, as they traveled to Dimmitt and defeated the Bobcats, 15-2. With the win, the Wildcats improve to 4-6-1 overall on the season.
