The Sudan Nettes’ varsity softball team got back into the win column on Tuesday with a, 26-13, home victory over the Hale Center Lady Owls. With the win, the Nettes improve to 2-1 in district play.

The Olton Mustangs’ varsity basketball team finished the season as 2A Regional Semi-Finalists this year and earned several postseason All-District Honors. Senior, Chris Urbina, headlined the lists, earning the District’s MVP Award, while junior, Jake Soliz, was named the District’s Defensive MVP and Head Coach Bobby Workman was named Co-Coach of the Year for the District.

Alex Tenorio had a day for the Lady Cats’ varsity softball team on Saturday, as she blasted three homeruns in a 4-4 day at the plate against Lubbock Christian High School at the Seminole Tournament, as Littlefield took the contest, 22-8.

The Littlefield Lady Cats’ varsity softball team fell into an early hole Saturday in Seminole, as they fell to the Hereford Lady Whitefaces, 11-8. With the loss, the Lady Cats fall to, 1-2 in tournament play on the weekend.

The Olton Mustangs’ varsity baseball team stumbled in their tournament-opener at the 2022 Shorty Barlow Classic in Earth on Thursday, as they fell to Kress, 12-3. With the loss, the Mustangs fall to 0-1 in tournament play.

The Springlake-Earth varsity track teams competed at the Nolan Demel Relays in Whiteface on Thursday with the Lady Wolverines placing first overall with 111 points and the Wolverines placing third overall with 64 points.

The Olton Fillies’ varsity basketball team, who finished the season as Bi-district champs and Area finalists were well represented on the District 3-2A All-District teams. The Fillies boasted three First-Team All-District selections in senior, Shaylee Leathers and junior, Kylee Noack and Makenly Smith.
