The Littlefield Wildcats’ varsity basketball went on the road Tuesday and took down the Whirlwinds in Floydada, 71-69.With the win, the Wildcats improve to 1-2 overall on the year.

Nettes come up short against Ropes, 64-61

The Sudan Nettes’ varsity basketball team came up short against the Ropes Eagles on Tuesday in Sudan, 64-61.With the loss, the Nettes fall to 4-6 overall on the year.Sudan poured in 15 points in the opening quarter, but trailed the Lady Eagles, 19-15, at the end of the first quarter.

Hornets sting Bulldogs, 77-34

The Sudan Hornets’ varsity basketball team went on the road and took down the Amherst Bulldogs on Tuesday, 77-34.Sudan was assessed a pre-game tech, putting Kevin Garcia on the free-throw line for two shots. He sank both attempts for Amherst, putting them in front, 2-0, prior to the tip-off.

The Littlefield Wildcat varsity football team’s season came to an end on Friday in Sweetwater, as they fell to the Wall Hawks, 56-21, at the Mustang Bowl.With the loss, the Wildcats finish the season with a mark of 7-5 overall on the season.

Mustangs top Seagraves, 62-28

The Olton Mustangs’ varsity basketball team blew out the Seagraves Eagles on Monday, Nov. 25th, 62-28.With the win, the Mustangs improved to 3-0 overall on the year.

Mustangs throttle Dimmitt, 99-43, for fourth straight win

The Olton Mustangs’ varsity basketball team stayed perfect on the year, taking down Dimmitt at home, 99-43.With the win, the Mustangs improved to 4-0 overall on the year. Olton erupted in the first quarter, outscoring Dimmitt, 30-4.

Hornets finish 1-2 at Plains Tournament

The Sudan Hornets’ varsity basketball team opened their season at the Plains Tournament this past weekend, where they finished 1-2.In their tournament-opener on Thursday against Friona, the Hornets took down the Chieftains, 67--44.
