The Springlake-Earth Junior High Wolverines’ track team brought home to first place finishes and a third place finish at the District Track Meet. The 4x100-meter relay team of Riley Ball, Levi Hill, Nathan Ramos and Brian Longoria clocked a first-place time of 50.19, while the 4x400-meter relay team of Ball, Ramos, Kaylob Frietza and Longoria turned in a first-place time of of 4:16. the 4x200-meter relay team of Ball, Waylon Welch, Ramos and Longoria finished third with a time of 1:51. S-E JH Wolverines track team takes 2nd at Disrict

The Springlake-Earth Junior High track teams competed at the District 4-1A Meet on April 6th where they took second place overall with 142 points. Individual results are as follows: Boy’s 100-meter dash 1st Levi Hill 12.74 7th Waylon Welch 13.46 Boy’s 200-meter dash 2nd Levi Hill 26.

Sudan Nettes basketball All-State selections

The Sudan Nettes basketball team had several players earn some more post- season honors, headlined by Stevi Lockhart, who was named a TGCA All- State selection, as well as being named to the TGCA All-Legacy Team and the TABC All-Star game. Gracyn Shultz was also a TGCA All-State selection.

Lady Cats drop 12-inning thriller to Lady Cubs, 3-2

The Littlefield Lady Cats’ varsity softball team dropped a heart-breaker in a seeding game to the Brownfield Lady Cubs on Monday at Lubbock High, 3-2, in 12 innings. With the loss, the Lady Cats will enter the Class 3A Softball Play-offs as the three seed.

Lfd. varsity track teams headed to Regionals

The Littlefield varsity track teams competed at the 3A Area Track and Field Meet at Mustang Stadium in Denver City on Friday with the Wildcats placing third overall with 67 points and the Lady Cats finishing seventh with 41 points.

Olton sending athletes to 2A Regional Meet

The Olton varsity track teams competed at the 2A Area Track and Field Meet in Panhandle on Friday, April 14th, with the Mustangs placing third overall with 81 points and the Fillies finishing 12th overall with 12 points.

The Littlefield Lady Cats’ varsity softball team enters the 2023 play-offs as the three seed from District 3-3A. The Lady Cats finished the regular season with a record of 16-9 overall, 5-3 in district play.

Lady Cats win on senior night, 12-2

The Littlefield Lady Cats’ varsity softball team took down the Denver City Fillies on Senior Night on Tuesday, 12- 2, at Lady Cat Field in Littlefield. With the win, the Lady Cats improve to, 5-2 in district play.

Springlake-Earth tracksters advnacing to Regionals

The Springlake-Earth varsity track teams competed at the 1A Area Track Meet at Longhorn Stadium in Vega on Friday with the Lady Wolverines placing third overall with 106 points and the Wolverines finishing seventh with 38 points.
