Hornets fall to ROpes in game 2, 12-1

The Sudan Hornets’ varsity baseball team saw their season come to an end on Wednesday night, as they fell to the Ropes Eagles in game two, 121, at Lockney High School in the Class 2A-DII Bi-district round of the play-offs.With the loss, the Hornets finish the season with an overall mark of 9-13.

Nettes Fall to Sundown in Bi-District round

The Sudan Nettes’ varsity softball team had their season come to an end in the Class 2A-DII Bi-district round of the play-offs, as they fell to the Sundown Roughettes in a home-andhome series, 2-0.In game one on Friday night in Sudan, the Nettes fell, 27-1, in three innings.

Littlefield sending two athletes, 4x400 relay team to REgionals

The Littlefield Wildcat and Lady Cats’ varsity track team competed at the 3A Area 1 and 2 track meet at West Texas A&M University on Monday, April 22nd, where they had two athletes and the boy’s 4x400meter relay team qualify for the Area Meet in four events.

Mustang baseball takes down Abernathy, 8-6, to close out regular season

The Olton Mustang’s varsity baseball team closed out the regular season on Tuesday with an, 8-6, victory over Abernathy on the road.With the win, the Mustangs improve to 7-13-1 overall, 4-6 in district play.
