Wildcats fall to Idalou, 39-26

The Littlefield Wildcats’ varsity football team came up short on senior night on Friday at home against the Idalou Wildcats, 3926. With the loss, the Wildcats fall to 6-3 overall, 2-2 in district play. The Wildcats totaled 283 yards of offense, including 168 passing yards and 115 rushing yards.

Mustangs rally past Tahoka, 62-48

The Olton Mustangs’ varsity football team won a high-scoring affair over the Tahoka Bulldogs on Friday, 62-48. With the win, the Mustangs improve to 7-2 overall, 3-1 in district play. The Musatngs totaled 432 yards of total offense, including 311 passing yards and 121 rushing yards.

Lady Cats come up short against Fillies

The Littlefield Lady Cats’ varsity volleyball team wrapped up their regular season on Tuesday, falling on the road to the Shallowater Fillies, 0-3. With the loss, the Lady Cats close out the regular season with a mark of 18-13 overall, 4-6 in district play.

Wildcats finish 21st at 3A Regional XC Meet

The Littlefield Wildcats’ varsity cross country team competed at the Region I-3A Regional Cross Country Meet at Mae Simmons Park in Lubbock on Monday where they finished 21st overall with 495 points. Senior, Omar Martinez, led the Wildcats, finishing 43rd overall with a time of 18:17.3.

Nettes finish 22nd overall at Region I-2A Regional Meet

The Sudan Nettes’ varsity cross country team competed at the Region I-2A Regional Cross Country Meet on Tuesday, where they finished 22nd as a team with 561 points. The Nettes were led by sophomore, Aubrey Lopez, who finished 60th overall with a time of 14:25.6.

Hornets cruise past Crosbyton, 53-12

The Sudan Hornets’ varsity football team took down Crosbyton at home on Friday, 5312. With the win, the Hornets improve to 5-3 overall, 2-1 in district play. The Hornets totaled 536 yards of total offense, including 287 passing yards and 249 rushing yards.

Lady Cats sweep Childress to clinch play-off birth

The Littlefield Lady Cats’ varsity volleyball team came out on fire against the Childress Lady Cats on Saturday at home and never let up, as they swept the match, 3-0, to secure a spot in the Class 3A volleyball play-offs. With the win, the Lady Cats improved to 18-12 overall, 4-5 in district play.
